About the course
Night navigation is an advanced course where you learn to find your way in darkness using compass, GPS and watch. You learn chart reading, distance estimation and navigation techniques that make you confident at sea even in the dark. The trip is 8–12 km and gives you skills you'll carry forward. Equipment is not included in the course price, but kayak and paddling equipment can be hired — rental of kayak and suit comes in addition.
